Our Beginning
Edgewater Wireless was founded in Ottawa in 2012 when it was spun off a defence industry R&D company and pivoted to focus on high-density, lower latency markets. Based on our extensive work with some of the largest service providers in the world and with the leading industry bodies including CableLabs and the Wireless Broadband Alliance, Edgewater Wireless is innovating Wi-Fi technology—laying the foundation for its patented Spectrum Slicing™ platform and becoming a disruptor in the wireless industry.
